Paying your account on time and pretty much on the same day each month. Also if your bill is $15.00, pay $20.00 each month when your bill increases increase your payment. This allows a creditor to see your pattern of use and apply that to an increase.

If you applied by phone, they may be able to give you an immediate answer; if you applied online, in some cases, it can take about a week or so to find out if you've been approved. If you are unsure as to whether you were approved or not, you should call or wait for a repsonse from Fingerhut. You will have to put the balance on a debit or credit card for any Fingerhut order that exceeds the limit you currently with Fingerhut.
Hope this helps you- I had the same issues and that was what I had to do to get the product I wanted to order at that time.
