200 lbs, this ladder is great, I love that I am only 4'11, and a painter, I was able to take this ladder to a clients, by myself, raise and lower it, and fully extend it with no employee assistance. it is a bit heavy, but thats what makes it so sturdy.

they are flat, I love this ladder, i own several, and this is the best, its heavy, and strong, shipping is high, but still was cheaper buying it this way than through my local Home d.
