does steel shank mean "steel toed"?
I dont want steel toed; but the other parts of this shoe seems perfect; anyone know if this is steel toe?

Thanks for your question, hinsley39. This is not steel toed. There is a steel shank in the sole of the shoe. It prevents sharp objects from puncturing the shoe and entering your foot. It's a nice feature to have on work shoes/boots.
