This material is not thin and not thick. Any thicker would restrict your blood flow....any thinner would not hold you in....so it's perfect. This feels like and fits like a glove. It doesn't roll and I'm really happy with it. I am a 16W pant size and bought an XL. it hugged me in all the right places. This is a bit costly for a brief...but you feel so good in it. Buy the right size for you...so it doesn't roll. Hope this helped.
